Biography

DIANE GILBERT JACOBY, J.D., LL.M., is Vice President and General Counsel of Ingalls Health System in Harvey, Illinois.  As in-house counsel, Ms. Jacoby is responsible for all legal, regulatory, and transactional matters that involve the System and its affiliates.  Ms Jacoby is responsible for the self-insured workers’ compensation and professional liability programs.  Ms. Jacoby was President of the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys from 2004-2005 and has served on numerous committees for the Illinois Hospital Association.  She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Ms. Jacoby is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she received her JD from North Carolina Central University School of Law, and her LL.M. in Health Law from DePaul University.  She is a member of the North Carolina, Missouri, and Illinois bars.
