Biography
Michael is a member of the Claims Legal Support Unit at Westfield Insurance, a P&C carrier based in Westfield Center, Ohio. During his 9 years at Westfield, Mr. Cronin has been actively involved in furthering Westfield’s litigation management endeavors, through invoice review, outside counsel roster management, firm evaluations/audits, best practice initiatives and guideline development. In 2010, the group was recognized as one of the ten most innovative legal departments in America by Inside Counsel magazine for its efforts in the litigation management field.
Michael is a 1992 graduate of John Carroll University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Latin. He obtained his juris doctorate in 1997 from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Michael is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, a Fellow of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and a member of the LEDES Oversight Committee.
