Biography
Michael J. McCue is the Corporate Director of Casualty Claims for Albertsons Safeway, a national retail grocer headquartered in Boise, Idaho. He joined Safeway in September, 2001 as the Director of Risk Management for Dominick’s Finer Foods, a subsidiary based in Chicago, Illinois. He currently has oversight responsibility in the adjustment of all personal injury and property damage claims across the US.
Michael has over 35 years of commercial insurance experience with a record of progressive responsibility in claims management. His background includes the handling and resolution of Auto Liability, General Liability, Product Liability, Professional Liability, Property and Worker’s Compensation claims. He served on the employers’ coalition for Illinois Worker’s Compensation Reform, suggesting and evaluating the bill’s provisions. In his commercial insurance career, he was a team leader in the design, development and implementation of a litigation management process adopted companywide.
