Biography
Charles "Andrew" Tharp is a skilled litigation attorney with extensive experience in both state and federal courts. He has represented various insurance companies and their insureds throughout the state of Florida for over thirty years including the succcessful defense of claims and cases involving mult-million dollar losses. Andrew has attained an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review and has also been named to Florida's Super Lawyers (2018-2022) and Florida Trend's Legal Elite (2016).
Andrew concentrates his practice on insurance defense litigation. Specifically, his practice focuses on first party property coverage (including lender-placed coverage) and legal malpractice claims. Additional practice areas include Insurance Coverage, Construction Litigation, Insurance Agents and Brokers Malpractice, Accounting Malpractice, Product Liability Claims and General Liability Claims. Andrew has also participated in hundreds of successful mediations as well as the arbitration of matters through the American Arbitration Association.
