Geoff Border is a senior insurance professional with over 25 years of experience in the commercial excess and surplus property, casualty, and workers’ compensation sectors. He has spent more than 23 years in leadership roles, where he is known for developing high-performing teams and driving positive business outcomes.

His background includes leadership experience in both claims and underwriting. In underwriting, he managed large program business, while in his current role in claims, he leads a department of approximately 55 claim professionals and 9 managers handling complex, severity-driven casualty claims, including general liability and excess/umbrella lines.

Geoff oversees daily claims operations, procedures, and performance strategies, ensuring alignment with best practices. He is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives focused on reducing loss costs, improving cycle times, enhancing employee engagement, and delivering value to underwriting partners. As a member of the claims leadership team, he contributes to shaping forward-looking strategies for the organization.
