Biography

Cortney Helfrich currently serves as the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) at Wilber Group, a nationally recognized leader in subrogation services. With over 15 years of industry experience, Cortney has devoted her career to advancing excellence in subrogation and recovery management. She plays a pivotal role in shaping Wilber’s award-winning culture—spearheading strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leadership development, and operational excellence. Under her guidance, Wilber Group has earned the distinction of being named a certified Best Place to Work for three consecutive years.

Cortney is widely regarded as a thought leader in the subrogation and insurance sectors, frequently speaking at national conferences hosted by Women in Consumer Finance, ACA International, InsideARM, and NASP. Her work focuses on leadership, talent strategy, and performance in recovery operations, and she is deeply committed to elevating the industry through professional education and advocacy.
