Biography
Susan is proud to serve the CLM community as President. She previously worked for CLM in multiple roles from 2011 through 2020, ultimately serving as Chief Communications Officer. In 2020, she transitioned to The Institutes, CLM’s parent company, where she served as Vice President of Business Unit Marketing. She began her career in insurance immediately after college and has held several marketing and leadership positions including those with a medical malpractice carrier and Business Insurance. Susan has also served in consulting roles to the Spencer Educational Foundation and the American Insurance Association.
Susan earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication studies from the University of Iowa. She’s a passionate gardener and an avid cyclist who loves the challenge of a nice hill climb.
