Stacey Wise

Biography

Stacey Wise is the Director of the Subrogation Department, a role she has held since 2014, where she leads high-performing teams, drives strategic initiatives, and oversees complex claim recoveries. With more than two decades of progressive experience in claims recovery, Stacey brings deep expertise in subrogation and salvage operations.

She began her career as an Inside Claims Representative after completing a rigorous six-month training program at the Medina, Ohio Service Office, handling property and casualty claims. She advanced to Insured Subrogation Representative, where she successfully managed insured subrogation cases and achieved significant recoveries. As Claims Recovery Unit Manager, Stacey led subrogation and salvage processes, strengthening operational effectiveness. From 2011 to 2014, she served as Claims Recovery (Subrogation and Salvage) Leader, spearheading initiatives that enhanced efficiency and results across the department.

Stacey is highly engaged in the subrogation industry and has been an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). She has served two terms on the NASP Board of Directors (2007–2009, 2014–2016) and was Co-Chair of the NASP Annual Conference in 2015. Her committee leadership includes the Website Committee, the Benchmarking Committee—where she led the 2015 Workers’ Compensation Benchmarking Study—and the Ohio Chapter as Co-Chair. She has also served as a Management Track Leader, a contributor to The Subrogator, and a frequent conference speaker, sharing insights on subrogation trends and best practices.
