Biography

Veronica DeMarest is an accomplished operations and leadership professional with extensive experience in risk management, team development, and multi-site operational oversight. Currently Risk Manager at H&K Group, Inc., she oversees incident management, regulatory tracking, and risk-mitigation initiatives across the organization.
In addition to her corporate work, Veronica serves as School Director for Applied Motion Technologies, Inc., where she manages state licensing requirements and supports industrial training programs. Her earlier leadership experience includes directing store operations for a leading retailer—where she achieved record sales, substantially improved employee engagement, and developed district-wide management talent—and serving as Director of Operations, where she oversaw 30+ stores, led an annual budget of $250M, and maintained the top profitability ranking nationwide.
Veronica holds an MBA in Leadership and in Marketing, a BS in MSIS, and completed 2 years of active duty and officer training at the United States Naval Academy. She is known for her strategic mindset, strong communication, and focus on building resilient, high-performing teams.
