Biography
Roxanne Case’s practice primarily involves workers’ compensation defense, including the handling of all matters before the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission, as well as workers’ compensation opinions, appellate work, and general insurance defense.
Roxanne is currently serving as the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Association President. She served as the Vice President of the MWCEA Board from 2023-2025 and has been a Board Member since 2020. She has enjoyed serving on the MWCEA Kids’ Chance Scholarship and Fundraising Committee. Additionally, she is an approved mediator for the mediation program administered by the Administrative Law Section of The Mississippi Bar and Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission. Previously, she has served as Past Chair, Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Mississippi Bar. Roxanne also serves on the Board for the Girl Scouts of Mississippi.
In 2026, Roxanne’s membership was approved to be inducted in April 2026 as a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers.
In 2025, Roxanne was named America’s Top 50 Lawyers for the State of Mississippi for the area of workers’ compensation.
In 2015, Roxanne was named to the Women Leaders in Law which was featured in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business according to Martindale Hubbell. In addition, she was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in 2015. She has been selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer since 2013 and by Best Lawyers in America since 2014 for litigation and workers’ compensation for employers. Roxanne was also named one of the “Top 50 Women Mid-South Super Lawyers” in 2014. In 2011, Roxanne was named to the Mississippi Business Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40”. Additionally in 2011, Roxanne was named among Mississippi Business Journal’s Top Ten “Leaders in Law” Lawyer of the Year from Mississippi’s top 50 lawyers.
