Overview

The School of Workers' Compensation is designed for professionals who currently work in workers' compensation or are interested in pursuing a career in the field. Professionals of all experience levels will benefit from the School’s rigorous curriculum, which is broken into three levels.

Course Descriptions

Level 1 focuses on the core competencies essential to being a successful worker's compensation claims professional. Courses will address medical management, disability management and core claims management competencies.

Levels 2 takes the student's education to the next level by addressing the science behind setting reserves and other more advanced topics.

Levels 3 serves as the School’s capstone year and helps worker's compensation claims professionals look at the broader picture and equip them for significant leadership roles. Level 3 also includes negotiating MSAs, management of vendors and staff, and metrics analysis.

Students who successfully complete all three levels will receive the Certified Worker's Compensation Professional (CWCP) designation.
