Each of the courses is a combination of pre-work and in-class course instruction, and each evening, small groups will work on projects related to the course material covered that day. The courses that make up the LMI are: Client Relations, Expectations, and Confidentiality; Coverage Perspectives; Fundamentals of Risk Transfer; Reserving and Data Management from an Actuarial Perspective; Resolution Options; Evaluation & Assessment: Impact Reporting and Reserving; Legal Budgeting and Fee Considerations; e-Strategies; Litigation Metrics; and, Practical Aspects of Litigation Management - Strategic Implementation.
The Litigation Management Institute is a real educational experience, not a tradeshow, conference or seminar. Each course will be taught by executives with extensive litigation management experience. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive the Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation.
The Institute will be limited to 100 participants and up to 24 CE and CLE credit hours will be awarded.
