Who You'll Be Speaking To

CLM Annual Conference attendees are decision makers and influencers from across the industry. You'll be speaking to mid- to senior-level claims, litigation, and risk professionals, along with experienced attorneys and industry leaders looking for practical strategies, new perspectives, and meaningful solutions to today's challenges.

Important Deadlines
  • October 16, 2026: Call for Content Submission Deadline
  • Week of November 16, 2026: Proposal Notifications Sent
  • December 18, 2026: Deadline for selected speakers to review and approve CE/CLE materials provided by CLM, submit any necessary revisions for compliance, and provide required speaker materials, including bios, photos, instructor packets, and presentation materials.
CE/CLE Compliance: All selected speakers are required to complete an instructor packet. To comply with state regulations, the instructor packet requires each speaker's birth date and Social Security number. Speakers may also be required to complete or review additional documentation as needed to meet state CE/CLE compliance requirements.

Presentation Formats

Known for its highly interactive format, the CLM Annual Conference offers sessions designed to get attendees talking, thinking, and exchanging ideas.
  • Roundtable: No PowerPoints here. Expect dynamic, speaker-facilitated discussions with open-square seating designed to encourage engagement, conversation, and lively debate.
  • Panel: A limited number of traditional panel sessions are available for topics that warrant a deeper dive through structured discussion and PowerPoint-supported presentations.
Most Roundtable sessions are capped at 50 attendees and Panels at 150 attendees. Capacity may vary based on room size and configuration to maintain a meaningful and interactive experience.

Speaker Panel Requirements

Panel Composition: Each session must include a minimum of four and a maximum of five confirmed speakers, with at least one CLM Fellow (an industry professional — claims, risk, litigation management).
Representation: We encourage panels that bring together a variety of professional experiences, backgrounds, organizations, and perspectives to create richer and more meaningful conversations.
Eligibility: All speakers must be CLM Fellows or Members. Service Providers are welcome but must become sponsors to participate.

Not a CLM Fellow or Member? You're welcome to join CLM and become a member to participate as a speaker. Membership is free for insurance professionals!

Please note: CLM does not arrange or reimburse speaker travel expenses.

Important Details for Proposal Submission

Submit your proposal using the Submission Form tab above by October 16, 2026.

Proposals should include a complete and confirmed speaker panel. Please ensure all proposed speakers are aware of the submission and available to participate March 31–April 2, 2027, if the session is selected.
