Welcome and introduction by Symposium Co-Chairs followed by State of the Union session.
2020 will be forever identified as the year of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting ramifications to all facets of our personal lives and the economy. This session will discuss specific impacts to the claims and legal services areas, including issues that all parties involved with litigation management will need to be aware of.

The world is slowly returning to normal after the pandemic of 2020. What that “new” normal will look like is a big question. New trial bar tactics, societal impacts and nuclear verdicts were starting to take place before the pandemic and continue to be core issues for examination and consideration. This session will discuss what the future might look like from the vantage point of all relevant parties.

This session will explore the opportunities and challenges that will need to be considered to ensure a productive relationship.
