State of the Union – The Future of the Claims Litigation Handling Model
A new world is emerging from a variety of evolving items that include talent wars, remote workplace considerations and societal issues and advancements, just to name a few. How are these issues impacting current models and processes for handling litigation assignments from both the client and law firm perspective? This session will discuss evolving model considerations for all litigation management ecosystem participants that include litigation specialization, centralization, file staffing and litigation loss handling techniques.

As talent and related challenges escalate, process and technology will likely be needed more than ever. This session will examine the areas of legal project management, process improvement, artificial intelligence and related technology advancements that will improve the balance of the triangle.

Teams will identify the pros and cons of various models with an end goal of creating a “best practices” design for today’s challenging environment.

This roundtable session will allow participants to work together to discuss ‘people impacts’ that process and technology options may assist with in the litigation management lifecycle. Each group will work together in “hackathon” style to create a solution in order to make a “Shark Tank” pitch designed to improve the balance of the triangle.
