UCC Course Registration

Description

This course will provide information on regulations imposed on insurers by various states regarding the effective communication of a coverage determination. Namely, this course will explore things such as declinations of coverage and reservation of rights (ROR) letters. The course will highlight things such as how to handle a potential conflict of interest that may arise when accepting coverage and retaining defense counsel on behalf of an insured under a reservation of rights. The course will explore the state-by-state nuances of insurance coverage and position letters. Upon completion of this course, adjusters will be able to better understand the rules affecting coverage position letters and implement processes so that coverage determinations are made, and position letters are drafted/issued, in compliance with the state rules and statutes. It will assist adjusters in evaluating claims against both insurers and their insureds. Please see attached outline for further details.
