Andrea Vosough

Andrea Vosough’s entry into the legal field began through a friend who was an immigration attorney. As a recent graduate searching for her first job, she started as a legal assistant but soon felt she wanted more. Knowing her parents came to this country to give her greater opportunities, she decided to attend law school.

During her studies, Andrea realized her interests went beyond immigration law. She externed widely to explore different paths. Her experience at a civil litigation defense firm clarified her goals, and once she passed the bar, she joined a firm specializing in insurance law. She finds this work intellectually stimulating and, while it was somewhat unplanned, she is genuinely happy to be part of it.

One of Andrea’s passions is increasing access to the legal field for underrepresented minorities. She values serving clients who face language barriers or have limited education, making sure they understand the legal process. She views her role as essential in helping these clients fully comprehend their situations. Andrea recalls defending a deposition for a Spanish-speaking client where poor interpretation would have impacted the case’s outcome. Her ability to explain directly in Spanish made a crucial difference.

Andrea actively serves on the Young Professionals Advisory Board and participates in both the CLM Orange County and CLM San Diego local chapters. 

As a young professional, Andrea is committed to helping new attorneys settle in, understand their roles, and succeed early in their careers.
