On December 8, the CLM Seattle Chapter held its annual holiday event in the wineries district of Woodinville, WA. Attendees were treated to a one-hour presentation (with Ethics credit) on how cooperation enables the best results in litigation and claims, entitled “Get Curious, Not Furious!” Litigation attorneys Kimberly Reppart of Forsberg & Umlauf, and Kaytlin Carlson of HWS Law presented their perspectives, and Will Locke of Alaska National Insurance Company provided the claims handlers’ perspective.

Attendees then left the classroom (and work) behind for the night, enjoying a few hours of good company and many delicious refreshments in the beautiful Cellar Room of Woodinville’s Winemakers’ Reserve. A joyful seasonal event for all!

The chapter is led by President Michael Handler (Forsberg & Umlauf PS); Vice President Levi Bendele (Lee Smart, PS); Secretary Nicole Brodie Jackson (Betts, Patterson & Mines); Director of Events Lizzy Adkins (Crawford & Company); and Director of Education Diana Dearmin (Liberty Mutual). The event was sponsored by Advanced Medical Group, Inc., Crawford & Company, 4 Corners Financial Forensics, AXIS Consulting, ESI (Engineering Systems Inc.), and JAMS.
