Skip Level 1 of Claims College – It’s Risk Free! But Act Fast, Registration Is Closing Soon

Are you considering attending Claims College this year? Do you have some claims experience and a strong grasp of the fundamentals? If so, you may be able to skip Level 1 of any three-level school by taking the test-out exam from the comfort of your home. Pass the exam and start your Claims College journey at Level 2. If you don’t pass, that’s OK. We'll apply your testing fee towards tuition for the Level 1 in-person program in Austin. It’s risk free! Also note that if your company has a Corporate Fellow membership, your registration for both the test-out exam and Claims College is complimentary.

But act fast as registration for the test-out exam is only open through May 31. For more information and to register, click here.

The exam is designed to test your current knowledge of the concepts covered in the Level 1 courses, so pre-exam study materials will not be provided. The test-out option is recommended for students with at least five years of claims experience. Test-out registration is open and remains so until May 31; students have until July 3 to complete the exam. Please contact help@theclm.org with any questions.

Recognizing Our CLM Service People

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor our nation’s service people who have made the greatest sacrifice for us and our country. While we pause and reflect on these heroes, it brings to mind those within CLM who have served or continue to do so.

We encourage those of you who are veterans or active duty military to share that information with us as a part of your CLM profile. It’s simple to add. Visit the CLM website and navigate to My Profile. You can add that information under the Additional Info tab. Click on the Edit icon and you can enter your branch of service information.

Last Call for LMS and LMI

Are you interested in learning how to revolutionize litigation management practices? Join CLM for Litigation Management Symposium (LMS) on Thursday, June 6. This one-day event is focused on content sharing by thought leader panelists followed by more intimate roundtable discussions that invite participants to discuss the benefits and concerns around their day-to-day processes.

This exclusive event offers limited seating to allow for active discussion between litigation management and defense firm leaders, so register now and we’ll see you on Thursday, June 6 in Chicago.

Once you’re in Chicago for LMS, why not stay for Litigation Management Institute (LMI) where you can earn your Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation? Two events for the travel cost of one. LMI, a focused executive education experience, takes place June 6-9 at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. For more information and to register, click here. Also note, Members of our Corporate Fellow program receive one free registration.

But remember, time is ticking away – both events are coming up quickly in the first week of June!
