This being the inaugural issue of CLM Magazine, I’d like to welcome readers from both Claims Management and Litigation Management magazines to an expanded community for CLM happenings: Around the CLM. We’re glad you found us.
Previously, we scattered new and updates about our organization throughout both publications, but it became obvious that, much like the growth CLM has experienced over our 10 years of existence, we needed a few more pages to share what we’re all up to these days. Here are a few things you can expect to see in this monthly section.
As an organization, we are prolific educators across many channels. In particular, CLM puts on nearly two dozen webinars every year. These 30-minute presentations hit the sweet spot in terms of being short, specific, and digestible, and we’ll share a summary of one here each month to keep you in the loop.
We also are packed to the gills with the best and brightest in our industry, so we’ll ask their opinions on a topic each month in Between the Lines. Many of these respondents also are involved in CLM’s Claims College, where they helped develop the final exams each student must pass before graduating. See if you can match wits with them on our Training page.
Of course, you’ll also get to see what members are noticing across the country when it comes to significant verdicts on our National page. Wrapping it up, we end each issue with a profile of a top leader in our organization, whether it’s a chief claims officer, firm partner, or risk management professional.
